Retaining wall Mincovní St., location 28, 2nd stage

The project concerned static safeguarding of Mincovní Street using an anchored micropile wall. The total secured length of the slope is 113 m.

Construction period: 2015/11 - 2015/12
Total value of the contract: 9 508 488 CZK excluding VAT

The retaining wall was built using 6.7 - 7 m deep piles, 180 mm in diameter. The axial distance is 1.2 m. The borehole heads are terminated in a reinforced concrete strap anchor 500 mm thick, 900 mm high and 100 mm above the level of the existing road. Wood-steel crash barriers are installed along the wall. The existing retaining stone wall at the staircase in the northern part of the section was stabilized by the application of shotcrete C 25/30 with rebar reinforcement 100 x 100 anchored in the base. The executed works will increase the safety of the location, thus improving the standard of living in this part of Jáchymov.
