Repair of cycle path in the A. Brože section - a loop in Bělský forest

The project concerned reconstruction of an existing cycle path in a length of approx. 320 m and a width of 4 m.

Construction period: 2015/08 - 2015/10
Total value of the contract: 1 745 298 CZK excluding VAT

The work included demolition of the existing concrete kerb and concrete troughs, installation of new concrete kerb, installation of a separation strip from interlocking pavers in a cement base and a new concrete surface in a thickness of 100 mm with scattered reinforcement. The project also involved the construction of a reinforced road with concrete surface in a thickness of 200 mm and scattered reinforcement, including sub-base layers and a concrete kerb. New connecting pavements for pedestrians and cyclists from interlocked paving were also built.

Colas renews its commitment to road safety

On Wednesday, December 8, Frédéric Gardès, Chairman and CEO of Colas, signed the "Seven Commitments for a Safer Road" with Marie Gautier-Melleray, France’s Interministerial Delegate for Road Safety. Over the last 24 years, Colas has been acting in partnership with public authorities to improve road safety, and will continue to play a strong role in the future with the new agreement.

Kácov bridge

The Kácov bridge project involves the construction of a new three-span road bridge with a total length of approximately 75 m over the Sázava River. COLAS CZ built the new bridge to replace the existing structure, which is no longer suitable due to poor condition, limited load capacity and unsuitable geometric parameters for traffic crossing.
