Cycle path Gerlova Huť – Nová Hůrka – Prášily – Srní; section II/A Nová Hůrka - Skelná

Construction of a new cycle path in Nová Hůrka – Skelná, which connects the existing cycle paths in the sections of Gerlova Huť – Nová Hůrka and Skelná – Prášily.

Construction period: 2014/10 - 2015/09
Total value of the contract: 19 724 154 CZK excluding VAT

It is a partly paved and partly unpaved two-way route without lane marking. The surface is paved in crossing points with forest trails, which are used by authorities of the Šumava National Park. The construction also includes three bridges.

 

Cycle path - the total length is 5.218 km. The area of the cycle path reinforced by a ACO 11 asphalt-concrete surface is 8,464 m2, the area of cycle path reinforced by granite paving (in crossing points with forest trails) is 232 m2, the surface of the unpaved part of the cycle path is 7,493 m2 (crusher run material and mechanically compacted aggregate). The drainage is led into the ground and the ditches; 18 culverts were built in crossing points of the original ditches.

Bridges - SO 201 Bridge over the Slatinný Stream – a two-span bridge with 16.3 m and 15.3 m spans . Total price of SO 201: CZK 3,019,462, excl. VAT. SO 202 Bridge over Křemelná – a three-span bridge with 10 m, 11.7 m and 10 m spans. Total price of SO 202: CZK 3,651,738, excl. VAT. SO 203 Bridge over a watercourse – a single-span bridge 11.9 m. Total price SO 203: CZK 2,026,512, excl. VAT. Bridge support structures are made of steel runners from rolled beams.

Kácov bridge

The Kácov bridge project involves the construction of a new three-span road bridge with a total length of approximately 75 m over the Sázava River. COLAS CZ built the new bridge to replace the existing structure, which is no longer suitable due to poor condition, limited load capacity and unsuitable geometric parameters for traffic crossing.
