Dagmar Children's Home has a suitably adapted area thanks to COLAS

Many of you will certainly remember that last year's New Year’s wish of our company included information about material assistance to Dětský domov Dagmar in Brno. We have constructed a relaxation zone in a park design for them.

Many of you will certainly remember that last year's New Year’s wish of our company included information about material assistance to Dětský domov Dagmar in Brno. We have constructed a relaxation zone in a park design for them. We had to remove the existing asphalt surface, which was replaced by new soil centred with grass. We then constructed a partially paved path from grass concrete blocks in place of the original asphalt path. As part of the existing fence was in poor condition, we repaired it. Portable benches were also installed in the relaxation zone. "The new benches were a very pleasant surprise", said Mr. Daniel Kusý, director of the Children's Home. The work was carried out last year in the spring by our Brno colleagues managed by the chief site manager Mr. Petr Jeleček. The children highly appreciated the new relaxation zone and, as an expression of their gratitude, they gave Ivo Šimek their own self-made collage with the logo of our company, which is now hanging in his office.

This year, we are preparing similar help for a children's home in another region of our country.

We believe that this form of spending the money saved from not producing and sending paper Christmas wishes makes sense and that we will all support it in the following years. We thank our Brno colleagues for a job well done.
