D1 Modernization – section 09, EXIT 66 Loket – EXIT 75 Hořice

The tender of the Roads and Motorways Directorate CR for the reconstruction of the D1 highway in section 09 was won by consortium "CPI pro D1" consisting of COLAS CZ, a.s. and Porr a.s.

The construction site was handed over on 15 May 2013 and the work started on 10 June 2013. The first work involved the traffic signs and provisional expansion of the highway width by 75 cm. The 09 section modernizes the highway in a length of 9.6 km and includes 5 bridges, a Hořice intersection and 4 flyovers above the highway. The modernization will include reconstruction of the sewerage system, drainage, cable lines and complete exchange of the concrete roadway. Construction is divided into several stages and proceeds under traffic operation on D1.
