COLAS CZ sponzoring Prague International Construction Contracts Conference

January 31, 2019

The conference is held on May 16, 2019 in Prague to improve cooperation and relations.

The conference is an exceptional global event, gathering experts from around the world to improve relationships and enhance co-operation and innovation in the construction industry. The first part is devoted to the current trends in contractual standards, such as the new FIDIC models of 2017, presented by the authors themselves. Another part will look at how to use and disregard FIDIC contract standards - case studies from various countries, for example from the construction of transport infrastructure in Poland, the construction of a mega-project of a fusion reactor in the south of France, and how to deal with its changes during the implementation. Further, there are case studies on claims in construction, their quantification and mitigation. The second part (Fair Relations and Innovation) focuses on human motivation and the impact of digitization as the main areas where the greatest potential for change, innovation and improvement of relationships is. The main themes will be BIM - digitization in construction, design-build integration and effective risk allocation, including new methods of delivery to alliances and partnerships. The language of the conference is English - Czech translation will be provided.

COLAS CZ reprezentatives take part in the conference too.
