Bridges and the highway approach road in Ostrava-Přívoz are open for traffic again

The Road and Motorway Directorate opened them on 2 November 2015 before 9:30 a.m. after repairs, due to which they were closed from the end of May. The traffic had already been restricted there for several months before the closing.

Daniel Havlík (Social Democratic Party), deputy of the Moravian-Silesian regional commissioner, declared that closure of the bridges was critical for transport in Ostrava. At the same time, a number of roads had to be repaired in the town and the reconstruction of bridges presented a huge complication.
