Award for COLAS CZ, a.s. in the TOP Building Company 2016 Competition

On 16 June 2017, COLAS CZ was awarded the 2nd place in the TOP Building Company of 2016 Competition in the State Sector category.

Mr. Eric Biguet, chairman of the board of directors of COLAS CZ, received an award from Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka.

“This year, we have retained the 2nd place in this competition from last year, which is great news for us. This confirms that COLAS has been able to sustain the long-term excellent reputation with the investors and therefore remains at the top of the Czech construction companies. This way my gratitude for this award goes out to our customers as well as the entire staff whose strenuous work and high stamina are undoubtedly a crucial factor for this success. Let´s all do our best to defend this position next year as well,” commented CEO Tomáš Krones.

Kácov bridge

The Kácov bridge project involves the construction of a new three-span road bridge with a total length of approximately 75 m over the Sázava River. COLAS CZ built the new bridge to replace the existing structure, which is no longer suitable due to poor condition, limited load capacity and unsuitable geometric parameters for traffic crossing.
