8/4/2021 - Environment Day of COLAS Group

April 8, 2021

The intention is to increase employees' awareness of climate change and its causes.

For most of us, the terms climate change, greenhouse gases, low carbon are not unfamiliar, and we have been encountering them in the media for many years. As a result of the fundamental negative contribution of humanity to the warming of the planet (especially by burning fossil fuels), the attitude and behavior of the entire society has also changed in recent years. All industries are gradually undergoing changes to support "green technologies". These changes are intended to dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in particular carbon dioxide CO2, methane CH4, nitrous oxide N2O and CFCs.

It is therefore quite logical that COLAS cannot stand aside, it must adapt its business to this historical development and reduce the company's overall carbon footprint.

We therefore make a commitment to reduce our carbon footprint by 30% by 2030!
