Six bridges disappeared from the D1 during one night

A unique event occurred in the Czech Republic on 5-6 July 2013.

For the first time ever, six bridges were removed from the D1 under a full traffic closure. In the 09 section, which is being implemented by the consortium "CPI pro D1", flyovers SO 09-221 (km 67), SO 09-222 (km 70) and SO 09-223 (km 71) were removed. All three bridges in the 09 section will be newly constructed. The other three bridges were demolished in section No. 21; two will be rebuilt.
